WEATHER AND PREDATOR ALERTS

FOREST; As always, the forests host the largest amount of cat population. The cooler temperatures of the shade also attracts the snakes, so watch your step.

POND; Cats, crocodiles, and snakes, oh my! Beware, these and their toxic frog friends have set up camp around the water in preparation for the heat wave will evaporate most of the water. Hopefully, their sights will stay on the smaller wildlife that's also flocking to the area, but I wouldn't wander too close to these teethy creatures.

FLATLANDS; Taller sprouts are springing up thanks to the wet season flooding, but the only threats are cats moving through the flatlands to get to where ever it is they are headed. Temperatures are pretty decent as well, but that will change as the dry season heats up.

HILLTOP; The Hilltop is probably the best getaway this season. The temperature wavers around a slightly hot scale, but winds from the east keep things cool and comfortable. Predators seem to be unaware of this oasis for now, but that kind of luck can't last.

DESERT; The heat here is bordering unbearable. With no water or shade to be found, the desert really isn't somewhere you want to stay for long this season.

COAST; The coast is clear (pun intended). Enjoy the sun, sand, and surf in peace, but not for too long. Temperatures are soaring here.

VALLEY; The once lake is now drying up again to become the Valley it is, and is still relatively safe. But beware; snakes lurk in the still moist soil and you could be eaten alive (not literally, of course) by mosquitoes.

GLADE; Big cats and mosquitoes are having a convention near the Glade. Beware of the bites.

MOUNTAINS; Pumas, driven by the need to feed their young, are abound in the mountains and desperate enough to attack even a small group of equines. Exercise extreme caution here.
